Welcome to Ferienhof Löschebrand, a natural paradise on the edge of the lake Scharmützelsee. Ferienhof Löschebrand offers holiday apartments with a conservatory and view to the lake and is situated in the beautiful health resort of Bad Saarow opposite a picturesque brick church. The Ferienhof Löschebrand's direct location on the clean lake Scharmützelsee makes it a real paradise for fishing. With us, you will spend your holiday in a stylish and rustic apartment which was once one of several farmhouse buildings used as stables, haylofts and barns. You can choose to wander amongst the fruit trees in the orchard or to sunbathe on the green grass, and children will have plenty of fun in the playground. On the lakeside, there is a BBQ where you can sit by the fire in the evening, soaking up the romantic atmosphere. Culinary products from the local region and from our own garden are on offer. Only five minutes away, you will find a supermarket, a baker and a good restaurant.
Ferienhof Löschebrand was once part of a working farm, run by our family until the 1970s. Historically speaking, the name ‘Löschebrand’ links the farmhouse to the centuries-old noble and aristocratic ‘von Löschbrand’ family, whose estates stretched across Saarow, Pieskow and Radlow. Their family crypt is in Pieskow church, located opposite the farmhouse. One famous visitor to the Pieskow church was Theodor Fontane, who is regarded as the most important 19th-century German-language realist writer. Whilst visiting the area, he spent a cosy evening at the local tavern listening to local tales and legends, many of which can now be found on information boards at various locations in the area.
